I love judo dearly. The Ultimate Fighting Championships and Mixed Martial Arts fighting generally have not been kind to judo though–it has become clear that judoka really don’t know how to fight. Judo fighters do very badly in competition with other fighters who kick, punch, and fight on the ground more effectively.
